hi. i am trying to find a theme period. i love the black and white theme and the cinderella theme but my mom don\'t want to tell people what to wear help me find a theme (she\'s a really big christian and is very stuborn)

I am planning my daughter's Sweet 16 and her colors are black and white (with royal blue as an accent color). We have decided to decorate the entire hall black and white and on the invitations inform the guests that IT IS a semi to formal attire event.
I would suggest the decorations to be black and white (lots of white of course) and HOPEFULLY people will get the idea when they start asking what should they wear. This will be your opportunity to "suggest" black and white.

i am having a black and white hollywood themed party. and everyone has to wear black and white except me and my v.i.p girls im gunna have flashing lights and a red-carpet and like the star walk of fame thing with me and my v.i.p girls names. and i think im goin to wear red or pink. i dont know yet. can u give me some ideas.
